4. Web browser requirements for viewing slidestories & podcasts
Slidestory is optimized for Internet Explorer versions 4.0 - 6.0, Netscape versions 5.0 - 8.0, Apple Safari, Firefox, and Mozilla browsers. All browsers need to have javascript and frames enabled as well as a browser plugin for mp3 streaming. Windows Internet Explorer and the Windows media player should work. Netscape and Firefox work with Windows Media player and the Apple Quicktime embedded plugin. There are many other plugins available to play web streamed mp3 files in all of the browsers mentioned above.

5. Problems publishing Slidestory to server: password incorrect
Your website password and Slidestory Publisher program password need to be the same. If you change your password on the website, you'll also need to update the password in the Slidestory Publisher. Go to "Settings" > "User Settings" and enter your updated password there.

6. Problems publishing Slidestory to server: stalls at "submitting"
With a medium speed connection (50 kBps upload), it may take 30 seconds to publish a 5 minute audio, 10 image Slidestory to the website. For a dial up user it may take several minutes.

If you have any Antivirus or Firewall programs, such as Norton Internet Security 2006, then you might want to disable it momentarily while you are publishing your Slidestory. Some antivirus or firewall programs interfere with the upload process.
